Foot Pain and Facing
Surgery
I first met Dr. Genrick at the
Mom’s Expo at the Burnsville Center. I had sharp pain in my foot arch and into
the ankle bone. The podiatrist said that I had tarsal tunnel syndrome, caused by
being on my feet a lot. I had severe pain daily.
I had custom orthotics made,
given pain medication, and was told that if this didn’t work I might need
surgery to cut the nerves in my foot to relieve the pain. With this type of
treatment I had no relief from daily pain. I was using Advil daily to tolerate
the pain.
After ONE treatment I had
relief from a majority of the pain in my foot.
I had no idea that my spine
and nervous system could be the problem. I am also learning that chiropractic
care can help all areas of your body. There is too little information to the
general public about chiropractic care. We all are told if it’s broke or hurt
see a doctor for pain medication. I would rather have the source of the pain
treated versus just the symptoms.
