Chronic Constipation and
Bloating
 I first brought my daughter to
Dr. Genrick in October 2003. My daughter has had chronic constipation for one
year, caused by a restrictive diet. She has been on a laxative for months at a
time over the past year as prescribed by her gastroenterologist. I first heard
Dr. Genrick speak at a Women’s Way event. She was speaking on Children’s Health
issues and chiropractic care.
After Josie three adjustments
Josie was having regular bowel movements. Josie is off the laxative and
continues to have regular bowel movements. We were pleased to find alternatives
to long term laxatives.
Josie also sees a urologist,
and is on low level antibiotics daily. Although I asked both the urologist and
the gastroenterologist the impact of this daily antibiotic on Josie’s digestive
system, nobody addressed the issue. Dr. Genrick was the fist to view Josie as a
whole person and explore how antibiotics is impacting her.
