Dr. Deb Genrick has enjoyed treating families since 1997. One of her strengths is being
able to find out what works best for each individual patient to reach their optimal health.
The clinic has many cutting edge options for patients in their care that patients should
NEVER feel like they are treated just like everyone else. Dr. Deb knows that the patient
and their families are the most important people in the clinic and makes sure that they
are treated as such. Dr. Deb's philosophy is to get people out of pain as quickly as
possible, as well as give them the tools and recommendations to help them stay
healthy. A total care clinic that includes not only diversified chiropractic care, but also
Pulstar computerized adjusting, acupuncture, cold laser, massage, and nutrition; we
have cutting edge technology and treatments that have worked for thousands of years.
Dr. Deb adds those therapies and continues to search out those modalities that are the
most beneficial for her patients.
Since graduation Dr. Deb has supplemented her knowledge with extensive training in
acupuncture, cold laser therapy, and individualized nutrition. As well as being a
chiropractic acupuncturist, Dr. Deb is in her second year at the Minnesota College of
Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at Northwestern Health Sciences University.
Obtaining a masters in Acupuncture gives Dr. Deb even broader knowledge base, in
both Japenese and Chinese acupuncture in order to help her patients. She is in
the unique situation of being able to use what she is learning in school
immediately for the benefit of her patients. Also having a full faculty at her
disposal.
Family is very important to Dr. Deb. She has been married since 1994 and lives
in Savage. She has two boys, 14 and 12. Both her father and her in-laws live in
Prior Lake. Her sister is a medical doctor and lives in Chaska with her family.
Dr. Deb treats her patients as if they were a member of her own family. Be
assured that Dr. Deb lives as she instructs, informs, and makes suggestions for
her patients. Her rock solid belief in the ability of the human body to heal
itself is integral in her view of life and of illness. She does understand,
however, that medical doctors and specialists are needed. Referrals to
specialists and medical doctors will be done when the case warrants. Just as she
would do for her own family.
Dr. Deb has been an associate professor with Northwestern Health Sciences
University since 2002. Interns are placed at the clinic for instruction on not
only adjusting, but on how to run a business. Her instructing will be expanded
to instructing chiropractors in a chiropractic acupuncture licensing class in
2011. She has been helping Dr. Peter Lichtenstein D.C. , L. Ac give instruction
to chiropractors for two years. |
