Brenda Brewster received her Masters
of Arts degree in Physical Therapy from the University of South Dakota in
Vermillion. Her undergraduate degree in Biology was received from Southwest
State University in Marshall, MN. With over 12 years experience in physical
therapy she has a broad knowledge base. She has worked in acute and sub-acute
rehabilitation, outpatient orthopedics, and prosthetics. She specializes in gait
analysis of runners and in prosthetic gait rehab. She demonstrates strong skills
in evaluation and treatment of back and neck injuries and empowers patients to
take an active part in their rehabilitation process.
Brenda has been a life-long athlete, and enjoys working with patients to help
get them back to their sport and wellness activities. She was a part of an NAIA
National Champion Basketball Team and competed at the NAIA National Track and
Field Championships while in college. She continues to be active with local
running clubs and conducts speaking engagements with running specialty stores.
Brenda grew up in rural southwest Minnesota. She has lived in Burnsville for the
past 11 years with her husband Brad. They have three young daughters Bailey,
Brianne and Brycelyn.
